Galore Jets Operations
Here at Galore Jets we are committed to bringing you the highest level of safety and service. We perform rigorous safety testing in all of our operations to minimize risk and ensure that you receive a safe and reliable flight. Your safety is always our number one priority on any Galore Jets flight.
Management's Commitment to Safety
We believe that a safe airline starts from the top down. Galore Jets management is committed to safety and is constantly thinking up new and innovative processes to keep our flights safe and incident free. At Galore Jets, our Director of Operations (DO) is personally involved in our risk management process for each and every flight. Our three basic considerations for every flight are as follows:
If a pilot is unsure of the conditions, the Chief Pilot and/or Director of Operations are consulted. Final approval of a flight lies with the joint approval of the pilot of the flight, the Chief Pilot of the charter, and the Director of Operations.
- Airport Analysis: Prior to any flight our DO goes over airport runway length, aircraft weight-and-balance, range, emergency alternate airports, fuel considerations and many other variables related to aircraft performance and physical terrain considerations.
- Weather and Aircraft Analysis: Our DO performs a check to make sure that the aircraft is airworthy and that the weather is suitable for operations. Pilot status is also assessed at this time.
- Real Time Analysis: Our pilot continues to monitor weather and other dynamic conditions. This process is ongoing until departure.

Our Flight Crew
Here at Galore Jets, we understand the importance of safe flying. Our pilots all have impeccable safety records and an average of over 10,000 hours of flight time. Each and every pilot undergoes a thorough background check and strict drug testing. All pilots train in full-motion simulators at FlightSafety facilities. Our pilots are equipped to handle any and every scenario; we simulate single and dual-engine failures, bird strikes, in-flight fires, cabin decompression, emergency landings and a multitude of other emergency scenarios. Our objective is to minimize pilot error and we incorporate this into our training; some of our programs that aim to achieve this are as follows:
- Crew Resource Management (CRM) training
- Hypoxia Training
- Emergency Maneuvers and Spin Recovery
- Airborne Weather Radar Training
- AED and CPR training
- IS-BAO and NBAA related programs
